The Cybersecurity Center of the Americas at Miami Dade College is transforming cybersecurity education by integrating the advanced hands-on training needed to be a cybersecurity professional.
Working closely with faculty and an advisory board of industry professionals, the center focuses on creating programs for degree-seeking and continuing education students of all skill levels. Additionally, the center provides guidance to students as they look to enter or advance with the cybersecurity field.
The center also serves as a hub for cybersecurity professionals from across the region by regularly hosting and participating in cybersecurity events while also providing general cyber awareness information to the internal and external Miami Dade College community.

Recognition
Miami Dade College is designated as a National Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense (CAE-CD) by the National Security Agency (NSA) with two validated programs: the Bachelor of Science in Cybersecurity from 2024 to 2029, and the Associate in Science in Cybersecurity from 2022 to 2027.
