Adam Fletcher
Chief Information Security Officer, Blackstone
Adam Fletcher is the Chief Information Security Officer for Blackstone, one of the world’s leading investment managers. He is responsible for all aspects of cybersecurity across Blackstone as well as managing a small portfolio of investments in leading early-stage cybersecurity companies. Prior to his current role, Mr. Fletcher was Blackstone’s Deputy CISO and helped lead an engaged community of cybersecurity professionals across Blackstone’s portfolio of companies. As a cybersecurity professional with over 20 years of experience, Adam has worked with global cybersecurity organizations large and small including McAfee, Nokia, VeriSign, ISS and Accuvant. Adam built a strong technical foundation through roles in security technology implementation and security architecture design, which has been complemented by management experience gained from roles leading consulting engagements and global teams of information security professionals. Prior to joining Blackstone, Adam led the International Security team for Equifax, coordinating a global security program across 14 countries, each with different business, regulatory, and privacy requirements. Mr. Fletcher received a B.S. in Operations Research and Industrial Engineering from Cornell University. He currently serves as an observer on the boards of CyberGRX and ShiftLeft, and as a Director on the board of Pcysys, and has been a Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) since 2011.
