Dear MDC family,
Let us come together to commemorate the brave women and men who have served our country. On Memorial Day, it is our commitment to honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice
to ensure protection and freedom of this nation. As we observe this day in solemn remembrance of those who are not here with us, it also offers an opportunity to celebrate
our veterans and active-duty military personnel currently serving in our Armed Forces. Our college is honored to have many individuals who have proudly served our country or
are currently enlisted. We commend you for your bravery and thank you for your service.
I invite you to engage with us in a variety of commemorative actions to remember those who have fallen. All campuses at Miami Dade College will have a “Missing Man Table”
throughout the week leading up to Memorial Day. Please stop by the table to learn about this special military tradition. I encourage you to also take a moment to gather in
person and participate in
events
